United Arab Emirates ranked as the 2nd safest country in the world

On the recent Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report 2017 by World Economic Forum. United Arab Emirates continues to have a higher ranking globally based on several pillars such as the following:
1. Business Environment
2. Safety and Security
3. Health and Hygiene
4. Human Resources and Labour Market
5. ICT Readiness
6. Prioritization of Travel & Tourism
7. International Openness
8. Price Competitiveness
9. Environmental Sustainability
10. Air Transport Infrastructure
11. Ground and Port Infrastructure
12. Tourist Service Infrastructure
13. Natural Resources
14. Cultural Resources and Business Travel
In Pillar 1: Business Environment, United Arab Emirates got the 5th spot, United Kingdom - 4th, Switzerland - 3rd, Singapore - 2nd and Hong Kong SAR on the top.
For Pillar 2: Safety and Security, United Arab Emirates nailed the 2nd spot, Finland as the 1st.
In Pillar 10: Air Transport Infrastracture, United Arab Emirates ranked 3rd, United States got the 2nd and Canada as the 1st.
Globally, the United Arab Emirates, ranked 29th overall and in the Middle East Region continues to be the most Travel & Tourism competitive country nailing the top spot.
